Expertise

Expertise is a far more than basic understanding of a topic. An expert in psychology has a great deal of experience and knowledge in the field and usually has credentials of sorts. We know someone with credentials in psychology is an expert because it is widely understood that earning credentials takes years of intense work and learning. Expertise is what makes academic psychological research believable. In a psychological scholarly article, expertise can be simply demonstrated with this:

Expertise is also clear if the psychology article is published in a protected database like chinook. Only Top-tier, cutting edge, highly valuable information would be restricted to the general public. It is the expert in psychology who presents information of this kind.
